I’m looking at one in 16ga built in 2004. It is really beautiful. What are some of your experiences with the gun if you own one? |

Sorry no direct experience with them, but everything I've heard and read has been very positive. |

I have a Garbi 62B 12ga. It is a bare bones sidelock probably made in the 80's. Side plates have no engraving and has a cheap finish, probably varnish.
Only problem I have had with it is a large crack in the fore end I first noticed a few weeks ago. Best quess is that the wood dried out and shank around the fore end iron. Will know better when I disassemble it.
Other than that and the fact that it doesn't fit me I love the gun. Not bad looking for a low level gun and light(6 lbs. 6 oz.) so a pleasure to hunt with. |

I have a Garbi 51A boxlock. A bare bones sxs but it looks great and handles like a dream. No issues with my 40 yo gun. |

My Garbi 101 had a terrible piece of wood for the butt stock. The grain was running 45’ to the action and it cracked through the wrist. Replacing it was a minimum of $3500. MAKE SURE it has the proper grain in the wrist and head of the stock. I didn’t and am paying for it now. The grain was beautiful though. |

My Garbi ( model 200/ heavy proof / 3" / sideclips/ F/F) , is very well fit & finished with a nice piece of lumber. It is my late season pheasant gun and throws nice patterns of 2 3/4" Fiocchi # 5s.
Best regards,
