The wad is a SG16 same as Herters |

Not surprising as most euroloads have the eurowads, either the SG16 or the Z. |

It's still a large capacity eurohull best comparable with the eurowads.
I haven't cut part a new Winchester load for a few years, but the last ones I bought maybe 10-15 years ago were using SG-16's in Cheditte hulls. The tightest shooting factory loads I've seen were PMC's using the Z-wads. 16 ammo went global years ago. |

What is a Euro hull ?
Fiocchi is not Cheddite hull what kind of hull is it.
I have quite a few Herters (Cheddite hull) but at some point I am going to have to buy shells to get empties.
So I’m trying to find a new shell or hull like the Herters Cheddite |

The eurohulls are the Cheddite, Fiocchis, and any large capacity hulls either made in Europe, or by these companies stateside. Cheddite is a French company and Fiocchi is Italian. The european wads like the Gualandi (SG16 variants) and the Baschieri & Pellagri (B&P...Z) are have a slightly larger gas seal diameter and are a good match for the hulls mentioned above. |

Dave
Thanks for the information
I have a couple thousand SG 16 wads.
Who makes BP hulls are they Fiocchi or Cheddite ( don’t think there Cheddite no stars on brass) |

That's a good question, readgriff. I just checked the BP website and I see they are currently selling Cheddite, Fiocchi, and Rio 16 gauge hulls. The Cheddite and Rio's both have the stars, and the Fiocchis are stamped with 'Fiocchi."
I'd give them a call. |

Thanks Mike. I'll follow this thread as well as it seems to be the same shell possibly. I have been going to the individual powder sites and found one recipe I'm asking about in my post (Alliant Powder - Unique). If it gets the thumbs up, I'll share here too.
