Thanks for sharing! Fantastic mix of birds you're getting. My mixed bag last Sunday was; Mallard, Bluebill, Redhead, Ruddy & Merganser all out of the same layout spread. |

I've never done the layout thing putz. Sounds like fun.
A friend of mine was just down on the Mississippi hunting the WI side way back in some timber and had a heck of a hunt.
We are about done around here I'm afraid. Everything is freezing up. Good friend has an 18' boat with a blind and heaters and a big diver spread. Might get some hunts in this week on some big lakes then that might be it. As always the A5 and the Boss shot will be with. |

My friend took me out in his 18’ Lund Alaskan this morning. 5 shots on 5 birds plus breakfast in the heated boat blind.
Sorry I can’t get all the pics to face the right way.

Broke some more ice this morning with some friends. 19 degrees on the truck thermometer this morning. 16ga stayed home today, replaced with my grandpas 1954 870 wingmaster. Val had some good retrieve for being 13.
