On another note, I've recently seen some posts with pics of hevi-shot shells splitting or with wads stuck in barrels. Anyone else seeing this?

I have noticed that two of the empties were split at the crimp. That seems unusual for once fired hulls.

I have been getting some significant case splitting, ~2/3 or more of the way down the hull, but seemingly good performance on ducks and pheasants. I called hevi-shot and didn't get much help. I'll keep working through the case I bought and see what happens before I try and send them a box of mostly hulls and few loaded rounds... |

Just an FYI, I hadn't noticed any splitting in the shells I shot and while hunting with people in SD a couple weeks ago who were shooting them in 12 gauges, no problems were mentioned. I hope they get this figured out. I am pretty impressed with the loads but don't like the idea of cases splitting. |

fleet farm has 10% off everything today thru Sat using code 10gift4u so I ordered a box of 6's. Does anyone know if their bismuth is US or European sized? I emailed them last week but no response. If anyone sees the 2 shot version on sale, please let me know. |
