It's funny how things like this pop out from time to time , then disappear . The wad looks like a 16ga version of the old Pacific wads , and way back when , Activ had something like them . I have a habit of just buying what I need , so fall into the RAN OUT thing now and again !

I hadn't thought of that but they do look a lot like the old Versalites, but I never saw any of those in 16. Had boatload of 12's I'd got at a great deal. Other than buying the mould and having a company make them, anybody ever tried to make their own plastic wads? |

overkill , do a search here for Nick Hammack and look for the post on the DR16 ... Seems like there ought to be a simple way of doing this albeit one at a time . NOT !! 100 grand and some serious machining capabilities just to make a single wad system . Have thought about this many times - zilch ! ( by the way , unless the post has changed , in about page 6 , is a video type post of the mold in action at Downrange ) |
