There are fly rods waiting, Hendricksons and Quill Gordons and Blue Quills to meet and match.
For those with yards, the 6 inches of snow we got here last night will soon be gone for us, and surely for you, and that means muddy dogs and yards to clean.
Me? I'll be on the road all next month because I'll have no apartment. Everything is in storage. So it goes.

Well hello Dave, it's been a long time! Hope all is well - stay safe out there my friend! |

Mike, a good friend had parents that were Marines. In good humor he'd say: "bet my mom could beat your mom." Gil |

being retired , it's not like I'm not home a lot !! But , funny how things are invisible , but in plain sight !! My super lite fly rod (fish picture prompt here ) has been within reach for a couple yrs . Foolishly grabbed it by the tip end and snap-o . Needed to cut the break and redrill the ferrule joint . Done !! Should be useable again and at 4'8'' , maybe the lightest in the world . (have caught 24'' smallies and 42'' pike on it , ) Another project X-ed out !! |
