Does anyone have direct experience with 16ga B and P F2 Classic shells?

Would you think these are suitable in a tight and good condition Husqvarna 310AS with 2-1/2” chambers? Their length does not concern me. More a question of pressure and recoil for an old gun.

Thanks

TB

Yes I have used them.

Several years ago when B&P had a fire sale I purchased 14 or so flats. I still have 10 flats or so on hand.

The shells were labeled 2 5/8 67mm, but are more like a hair under 2 5/8ths in length when fired

As for pressure they are not low pressure loads, they rate at 9867 PSI I think

I dug a little more on the B&P website and they show these shells at 1312 FPS and 720 bar. That is just over 10,400 PSI. I think I will pass on them and go with RST.

Hi, I've used them and they are hot and do thump you. Won't use them in my vintage guns just too hot. As OC has said, they are up there in pressure. They would be okay in a heaver modern gun.

Best,

Greg

My Iside eats them like candy. Terrific pheasant loads.

F2s are killers....I shoot them in more modern guns. They pattern a bit tighter in my guns.
