I’m going to buy some ammo from either buds gun shop or midway USA, maybe both.
Has anyone here bought from either of them? If so what was your experience and would you recommend? |

I have ordered from both with no issues. Also may wanna check sportsmen warehouse. I order from them the most cause I’m a member and usually get cheaper ammo and deal on shipping. If you order a lot it’s worth paying the fee to join. |

I order from Midway all the time, never had an issue with them good company. Pays to check when they have free shipping on orders over $50.00 or $100.00. |

I have issues with MidwayUSA shipping policy. If you order multiple items and one isn't in stock, you will get wacked for excessive shipping charges. I complained about it politely, but they didn't seem to care.
I had ordered a bunch of wads which all said were in stock. One wasn't. When it finally shipped, they tacked on $12 shipping on an $11 bag of wads.
They are one of the few companies that will sell ammo to CT residents though.

I buy from both of them regularly. Bud's can be a little slow, but I have never had any other problem with them.

Have ordered from both Buds and Midway, a lot from Midway but never ammo from either. They are both legit, very legit.
Sportsman Warehouse will only allow you to pick up ammo in Coon Rapids, Mn. right now they are not shipping.
Sportsman Guide in South St. Paul Mn. will ship but they don't have much of anything to ship. Most everything is out of stock. When they put 16 ga. Federals on sale I have been known to clean them out.
Rogers Sporting Goods used to be good for 16 ga. ammo but with the exception of the Pheasant Forever 16 ga. hunting loads are also out of stock.
Academy Sports is out of 16 ga. lead ammo too.
If I am buying 1 oz. 16 ga. target loads I like Federals but they are pretty scarce right now. A lot of ammo is scarce right now across the board and expensive when you do find it.

Fleet Farm recently had some good sales on Rem Gun Clubs in 12 and 20. |

Both are good companies. I order from midway all the time. They have the fastest and most reliable shipping of any online ordering i do...not just gun related. Buds is reliable but more standard shipping times like most companies. |

MidwayUSA is an example of a company run right. They are neck and neck with Brownells in terms of doing right by their customers. Shipping is fast, returns (if you need them) are sane, just great people to do business with.
I've done business with Buds once and while I had no problems whatsoever, the experience wasn't anything to brag about. |

Thanks to everybody for the responses. I’ve only ever ordered ammo once and it was not from buds/midway. I’m still not sure which of the sites I’m going to use if not both as the ammo I need is not yet back in stock on either of the sites. The general consensus seems to be that there both legit so that’s a relief. None of the other stores mentioned here have quit what I need but I’ll definitely check them out for future purchases. |

Yes...just search bud's gun shop. They sometimes have good specials on guns to order to send to your FFL. |
