I have a box or two of those somewhere in the cache. The true blues were always good shells.

I also have a box of 12 ga Peters #2 lead shot.

The first rifle ammunition I bought for my .308, back in 1975 or 76, was a new box of Peters, loaded with 150 grain Core-Lokts.

I knew I had some. Even had the case, not 16 though.

I have a ton of the older papers in every gauge. I love to use them. Something special about the aroma of paper shells.

Thanks for that link. I did not know that Remington was putting out a line of vintage style packaging for shotgun shells and rifle ammunition.

It did sadden me a little to see a nice vintage box in 6.5 Creedmore but not .300 Savage though. It brought out the curmudgeon in me.

I bought a flat of the new Rem/Peters steel loads for ducks. The specs were right, and the retro boxes sealed the deal.
