Caught a break in my schedule today but State lands closed due to fire so I headed to the range with all due respect for 9/11 remembrance. 16 ga 2 1/2” target reloads were scarce in the file cabinet so I broke with habit and bought some 2 3/4” Rio at the range to feed the Citori. Two rounds of skeet cyl/IC and two rounds trap M/F. Nice to have a great gun for both games with zero malfunctions and not so bad results as well. Good outing.
But here’s the best part. Box of Rios is $8.53 at the range. Maybe a little steep but the clean empties are worth a nickel apiece to me so the net is $7.28. A box of reloads costs me $6.25, so for an extra buck per round of trap/skeet, I can skip the reloading and spend the time shooting the Citori instead!
I think I like the math.
Cheers

B,
Well done, well done !!!
I put out the FLAG this morning
Went to the rifle range and shot 30-06, 22-250, 556, and 22 LR
Then to the pistol pit and shot S&W 29 with light 44 Mag reloads.
Came home for lunch and did honey dos till 4PM when I went dove hunting.
then Burger King and then cleaned the birds.
Put the Flag up and am getting ready to put on a Church shotgun shoot
scheduled to 10AM tomorrow. Dove hunting tomorrow afternoon.

Gentlemen,
Glad to see you getting back into the swing of things, ended up doing some construction work yesterday and shortly I will be doing some dog training at the Log cabin facility in the Potter County woods. October is on it's way!
