I used several pounds of Vectan powders in the past couple years because I got it for a good price from a local shop. I used D20 for a bunch of 16ga sporting loads and it worked very well and shot clean. The shop offered it to me at a good price because he had ordered a case of it and nobody was interested in trying a new powder.

I see where its teasonable price if you dont have to pay hasment fees. Wish i was still flying. I used to take 4 to 6 of us and split the cost of fuel ad go to gun shops. We would load up and head home with our goodies. Ahhh the good old days.

This is my take......good powder......BUT

It doesn't look like Graf's is going to reorder it.

If this were me, I wouldn't get too invested in Vectan powder. Yeah it's good but it doesn't do anything that the rest of the powders don't do. I have reloaded for the 16 since 1987 and not once did I ever need Vectan powder.
