I cut open a new BOSS #7

What is the pellet size ?
Is that .040in? Which is way out from#7 which I thought should measure in the vicinity of .1 |

If the average really is .105 that's a size 6.5 shot; a little large for a size 7.
I'd shoot them except I don't shoot anything at 1,350 fps other than steel for waterfowl in my 12 gauge jam-o-matic. |

I might try the 7s on a few small potholes around here for some early small ducks.
I know they will kill. I’m more worried about pellets in the meat. |
