I got serious about finding some Sharptails today. Found a nice piece of property with some roll to it and a harvested wheat field right beside it and the dogs and I scored our first North Dakota Sharptail. Should have been a double but I over lead the second bird. I'll take the first one and be happy. Used my Citori, 28" barrels, Muller U2 & U3 chokes and my favorite hunting load of 1 1/8 oz. #6's.
Still don't have my reloading stuff unpacked and setup yet, but I have enough loaded stuff to get me through the first little bit. |
