After moving back to Oregon last year, I've been trying to find a great place to use my Aquapod layout boat. Using google earth, I found a likely marshy cove, and I hit the jackpot. Had a fantastic hunt yesterday, had the spot all to myself, and the ducks were swarming my spread, landing at point blank range. Swarms of teal and widgeon, and some mallards and pintails, and some geese too. Laying down in a sneak boat, having birds flying right over your head, while you're laying there sipping coffee and watching the show ... man, that is the best kind of duck hunting in my opinion. My Husky 103A is a great shooter, and these are the first birds I've taken with it so far. I think I'll try one of my 16 hammer guns next time.

Yeah, pintails are my favorite. So graceful and beautiful. We're only allowed one per day here on the Pacific flyway, so I hesitate even taking one. Fun watching them land in the dekes and whistle overhead. |

Thank you! Husky's are great guns, and still a great value in the double gun market. |
