Looking to buy older Sweet Sixteen, 26-28 inch barrel. Modified choke less than 7lb would be a plus. Really interested in a shooter that has no major issues, clean bore, and wood with no cracks. Let me know what you have. Many thanks Tom Massaro. |

Arts Gun Shop is a must to check out, large selection of A5s. Good people to deal with as well.

Good deals still exist on gunbroker too, if you look hard enough.

When you get one make sure to check and see if the friction rings are intact. If not buy replacements. Make sure to lean how to set them correctly for your intended use. Also check the shape of both the recoil and action springs. A simple cleaning or if need be replacement of the springs may go a long way in terms of performance. A little 30 weight oil on the magazine tube helps too.
Good luck, hope you find the right gun. |
