You may want to check out Gary Nicholson in Grants Pass, OR. He will make you whatever you want or recondition and old case. There are few better than Gary at his craft.

Chicago,

What are his prices like for a leather and wood gun case like I just purchased?

Labeling with country of origin is a customs requirement for all imported goods. There was no COO label on the TF soft case I purchased, which by default should mean it is domestically manufactured. That does not mean such a label wasn’t removed, but to me that would signify a lack of integrity that seems counter to the mission of TF.

Dave,
They are all custom cases and they start at $1,800 for one like you purchased from Ferney and $3,000 for a oak and leather case. After the New Year I am sending off a case for him to recondition that is numbered to the gun. Maybe this link will work.

On your recommendations, I purchased a Thomas Ferney leather gun case. I think it is a absolute bargain at $200. It seems to be well-made and sturdy. It is heavier than I expected. It will house my 16ga custom Fox ejector, when my gunsmith completes the project.
