Wyoming chukars and huns. I certainly love hunting these birds, even if I nearly ripped my shoulder loose stopping a fall the other day.
I will be going back Sunday afternoon and tackling the steep stuff one last time (final day of season). It's time once again to say goodbye to a cherished bird in a remote and lonely place where others never tread. It's not a place loaded with birds, but there are always some up there at the end of the long, long hike.

Thanks for great pics.
Hunted chukars once when I was 35 years old. Doubt I could hunt them anymore.
Huns, have hunted several time and would like to again. |

What is the double in the first picture, the one with the beaver tail fore arm?
Is that your Durstan special or a LC Smith. |

Yes, the gun in the first photo is the DS custom.
Rusty and I went out one last time today (the closer) to face the nefarious arch villain Red Beak and his minions. We emerged victorious. Pics later... |
