I'm not the greatest fan of gun shows as that's what they usually turn out to be...show not sales.

My buddy and I walked into the local gun show to kill the morning. First table I spy two cans of SR7625 Smile Price says $35/can. Then I see a 4lb canister of Herco with no price. Well I head calculate and offer the guy $100 for all. He says "Sure!"

Cool!

Made the morning right there for me.

Next row I bought 2.5 bags of Claybuster 12ga Pink 1oz wads for $20

Then I bought my 8 month old grandkid his SECOND firearm. Like new CZ Mallard 20ga w/26" barrels. Included in the sale was 16 boxes of mixed factory 20ga shells . Priced at $600. Offered $550...Boom! Out the door!

Pretty good morning at the show!

Great job! I quit going to gun shows around here because they turned into the black rifle- Walmart guns- and flea market scenario with terrible prices, some 20 years ago. In other words, nothing to see that I can't see everyday at pawn shops and department stores, and our pawn shops are not very good. I miss the days of shows that had variety and at least some good deals.

Now this is a timely topic!
I too went to a gunshow on Saturday and found 4 boxes of Kent Tungsten Impact in 16ga for $20/box. Snapped them up.
Fellow would not sell me the rest of his 16ga cause he had two bolt action Marlins(? maybe) in 16 and wanted to be able to give some shells with a sale on them.
Normally, gunshows around here are a quarantine break and an excuse for a good lunch but this was the exception!

Chuck

I'm just jealous of you guys that can go to gunshows. The largest one here in Mpls that's usually in March is canceled again.

I never used 7625. What gauges/loads do you guys like it for?

I can use it nice, mild 16 and 20 ga loads for my vintage guns. It was discontinued many years ago. I had switched to Universal in 16 ga and 20/28 for 20 ga, but will certainly use up the 7625, but when it's gone, it's gone/
