Has anyone checked into availability of a 26 barrel for the new A5 Sweet. I have a 28 inch barrel but was looking for a 26 inch. Tom

I have called Browning CS once a year for the last couple of years and the answer has always been no. Been almost a year now since my last call though. Having Briley cut my 28" down to 23" is great for grouse hunting but miss the 28" for clays.

MGW sells new A5 barrels (post 2012 mfg.) and I check them regularly but they only have 12 ga. in stock. They run $400-$500

Not sure why they do not offer extra barrels given they produce both. Does not have to be that hard.

The barrels and guns are made in Portugal.
