I have almost two months to go for spring turkey and It cant come soon enough. We still have a lot of snow on the ground here in Vermont and in NY where I hunt. The preserve I go to still has quite a bit of snow too so its been a long winter for the dog and I. with warmer weather coming in I hope to get there a couple times for pheasants once the snow reseeds. |

you probably know that most small game just closed in NY . Little too much snow for me and the beagle - she's old too ! Other than crows , quiet till May 1st . Haven't seen many birds this winter where I can get at them . |

Yes I know with all the snow we got early in the South East zone near my camp and where i grew up I never did got out for grouse. Hope to get a couple crow shoots in before that ends. Ended up putting on my snowshoes yesterday it was sunny and in the thirties so I took a walk to recover my game cameras s behind the house. Lots of turkey pics and coyote ones as well. Got this pic of a big dog with a gobbler!
