Those purple Herters hulls are crazy, I can’t get rid of them! I keep reloading them over and over, and while the Rios and red Cheddites and Wins eventually crack and split and end up in the discard pile, those Herters keep holding together and just stare back at me from the reload bin. Will they ever go away?

Back in 2016 when Cabelas was selling them at a good price i was shooting a lot of NSCA sporting clays with my 16ga and bought seven flats of them that year and also bought more when they were being discontinued.
I have reloaded them countless times since then and then this spring I came up with the idea of cutting them down to the same length as my RP game loads for use in my short chamber Elsie. Now I will get a few more years out of them before I cut them shorter and roll crimp them. |

I must be doing something wrong. I get 2-3 loads and the crimp splits. |
