Some (not all) of the new Winchester 2 piece hulls I have gotten are good for about 1 reload and then they crack at the crimp folds far enough down the side of the hull to basically make them useless.
These hulls look like Cheddites, but they sure don't last as long.
Wondering if anyone else has had this show up? |

I have a LOT of 20's I'm just about to delve into . Will see how it goes .... I load fairly light loads in 16 RGL's , and that's the same thing I see with them . It always looks like they split down a seam that isn't welded good - some 1/2 way down the hull . (the saving grace is the reloads are GREAT before this . ) |

MSM,
Hate to hear that, always thought the Win. hulls were some of the best out there. Hope they had a bad run of plastic and they will return to what they have been in the past.
I am working my way through a flat now which is on their 5th reload and look like they will get the usual 6-7 reloads. This flat is about 2-3 years old. |
