16ga brothers in North Dakota, what is the word on sharptails, huns and pheasants?
In the past I have hunted around Tuttle, Wing, up to McCluskey areas.
Was looking at Crosby area,
I know there is pretty good drought on, curious if worth making the trip up to North Dakota |

It hasn't rained any significant amount since last August and there was no real amount of snow last winter.
Dry and hot are the best way to describe it in ND. |

I just suggested to my wife she buy me and my son a guided hunt/fish trip in a neighboring state. She started looking in SD. Their forecasts are almost exactly the same: It's been hot and dry, Because of that the bird food wasn't covered by snow and dry weather helps with survivability of chicks. Because of this, they are optimistic of bird numbers for this season. |

Hey, bro, I am in Meridian and maybe we could hook up.? I usually hunt locally with my pointing lab.
I can only dream of a trip to SD.
