I had posted about Runnings making a run of the 525 Fields a few years ago and have been debating picking one up since. I stopped by there a couple weeks ago and they still had one. The kid behind the counter said it was supposed to go back to their Headquarters. I quickly put a stop to that and bought it. I’m guessing they are going to put the remaining ones on Gunbroker in the near future. It doesn’t have great wood but it sure is nice. I had Briley make me some faux Midas choke tubes with their Spectrum black oxide chokes with gold bands. Went 5 for 5 with it today with IC and LM chokes and some old Winchester Super X shells.

The 525 is a beautifully made gun. I love mine, and although it’s a little heavy it gets the job done. I’ve killed a lot of birds with it!! |
