| I'm no expert, but if it was done by Turnbull, I doubt if it was torched, at least not while they had it. |

From what I can tell the torching is pretty easy to spot because the colors go in spots and swirls and migrate across different pieces because it is done while the action is assembled. Those case colors are very broad and uniform across the whole side plate. That looks like Turnbull colors.
