The 2022 canadian Browning catalog was released, some new A5 Sweet models are available in new year...a Shadowgrass camo version, new Upland model (no English stock) with silver receiver, and the Lightning now looks to be standard catalog item. No mention of/if theres any ShotShow models announced yet.
Although not a 16, theres a gorgeous new 725 Medallion Limited in 12ga shown.

Missed this one awhile back, didn’t know this model existed. Thought about it too long and it was gone

It's not a Wicked Wing model, just a Shadowgrass Habitat camo version. No 20g, if there was it would've been plastered all over the web by now.
If you want to see the Canadian catalog just go on the Browning website, go to NEWS heading and click on Browning Canada...that will take you to digital 2022 catalog

Nice to see them expanding the 16 line up.

I know a lot of people think they are ugly but I would like to see a synergy in 16 gauge.

I like the silver receiver quite a bit. I still don't understand why they don't make an english stock upland model though, since upland hunting is mostly what these are used for. Imagine this: straight grip, short barrel, 5.5lbs or thereabouts, sling swivels as an option. Hello. What a sweet chukar gun that would be! Seems like a no brainer to me, but maybe that's because I have no brains. Rolling Eyes Laughing

My go to Chukar gun is the new A5 Sweet Sixteen. Very light and made for the job. I do not do a great deal of waterfowl hunting but a waterfowl version is welcome. I would call it progress.

The new sweet 16s I’ve handled (only 2) were both legitimate sub-6 lbs.

Looks like there's going to be some Sweet Sixteen offerings for ShotShow too!

Dstar, looks like you may have gotten your wish for a 16 ga, Wicked Wing in
Max-7? or MOBL camo and an Ultimate, Sweet!

My A5 is right around 5 3/4 lbs with the 28" barrel.

Getting closer for me. I don’t shoot semi autos at Upland birds, but I’d like to have a waterfowl sub gauge, but I can’t do camo guns or that wicked wing nonsense. Is the hunter flat finished? A stalker version would probably get my money. Especially if there was a stalker with a lightening grip.

Looking promising for a Wicked Wing model based on Midwest Gunworks’ website.
