I've been wondering if there are any real good upland bird hunting videos on the market. I tried to see if I could get a new copy of Tom Miranda's "Upland Gamebird Bonanza" that he filmed in 1990 since my ancient VHS copy is about dead. He still has the original master, but his old machine won't play anymore (anybody have a copy?). I have machines that will play it if I could score a copy.
Anyway, surely there must be some other good upland videos filmed in the past 32 years. Recommendations? This is part of my annual "bird season is over" therapy... |

WyoChukar,
Have been trying for years to purchase the old American Sportsman Bing and Phil bird hunts, I simply can not get them. With your contact maybe you can!
all the best,

All the old Bing & Phil episodes from American Sportsman would be great, and also the Andy Devine hunting Woodcock with I believe Grits Gresham. Also need the episode of Robert Stack in Britain with the Wee Scot!! (aka Sir Jackie Stewart) |

About 15yrs ago, there was a regular show on Oudoor Life called "Hunting with Dash and Dez"...I recall it being excellent, AND I do believe he used a 16ga Merkel 47e....I do recall him.uding a Browning 20ga BSS as well...mostly because I had one too and figured I was set for life with that gun....that was many guns ago...lol. |
