Supplies are finally starting to arrive at the club. About a thousand bricks equivalent, member price unknown at this moment.

IF you are working with a good distributor, orders are delivered by the date the order was placed. Most distributors will take back orders.

Reloading components are bought by most clubs through distributors, not generally retail outlets.

Those look like the NS688s.
I just managed to snag 10000 from someplace in KY. Sold out in a day.

I’m told they are 51 and change, almost double what they were a couple years back. I’m halfway through my last brick, so I guess I’ll simply have to take a deep breath and buy in.

Good news is another member handed me 4 boxes of 16 ga factory ammo, said lots of folks are coming by the club to dump off Uncle Charlie’s old ammo that he won’t be needing anymore.

If you're gagging at $51/brick, good. The prices should be lower.

But, if you go to LL Bean's mothership, they have lots of small rifle primers (and only small rifle primers) for 89.99 the brick.
Benchrest small rifle, 179.99 the brick.

When going there, take someone who knows the Heimlich Maneuver with you.

Just ordered 2000 Cheddite primers from Brownell's (two box limit) at a final price I'm embarrassed to disclose, but I've got plenty of Cheddite hulls so this can keep me shooting for a while.

no reason to be embarrassed, everyone that's buying primers now is pretty much in the same boat. At least you didn't have to pay gun broker prices to keep shooting.

Picked up my allotment (one brick) of 688s today from the club. They fit well in all my hulls including Rios. Will have to nurse my supply along into the summer. We are also parceling out the shipment to other clubs around the state to keep the sport going. Cheddites and Fiocchis are expected to arrive soon.

Rio 16 ga ammo has proven to be first rate stuff but the club is out of it and our ship has quite literally not come in yet. Evidently a large cargo of Rio ammo has been anchored for some time off the Texas coast waiting for offloading. Wish I had better news to report in this regard.

Rio's are made in Texas. They built a production plant in Texas. The location
I have forgot. But I called them a couple times on their 16ga hulls. Response was good.

Not any longer they are made in Spain, they stopped production in Texas a couple of years ago. They still own the plant but it is now a logistic and disturbition center. So pulling into port and offloading in Texas does make sense.

They used to have a factory in Tn. until they inadvertently blew it up (2014?) then moved to Texas. And now Spain. At one time they were the 4th largest ammo maker in the US.
