You may still need to adjust the stack height to get a proper crimp for the hull and powder charge that you use with that wad. |

Big Blue, they work best in Remington hulls. No filler needed for 7/8 oz loads. |

I use them for 1OZ ioads and don't need a filler
.in cheddite hull you need to expand the powder cup. |

I agree with Double Vision. The best hull for them is the Remington RGL. If you have Winchester CF's, those work perfectly also. |

The best fit with 7/8oz is the Remington hull. It could work well in a Federal or Fiocchi with a higher velocity load. I added an overshot card to mine, but I think I'll be going back to 1 oz loads. |

They work perfectly for 1 oz loads in Cheddite and Federal hulls. The only caveat is that fine ball powders like Longshot will leak around the powder cup and cause bloopers. I solve this by pre-flaring this cup on all of my Claybuster 16 ga. wads. Using 800-X also solves it, but Chris Hodgon saw fit to take that option away from us.
As previously mentioned, it's not a problem with Remington and the older WW CF style hulls. In the Win CF's this wad is better for 7/8 oz. loads (not as much room in this hull). In the Rem it works fairly well with either 7/8 or 1 oz. |
