No association with seller, and I can confidently say I don't know a lot about different LCs but figured some folks here might be interested in this gun:

Bidding , haha.
Though not a fan of 32" barrels, sst and beavertails are my jam.
Maybe a decent trap gun?

Nice gun. It's been redone, fairly well. From what I can tell the butt stock has been replaced, a Pachmayer pad has received a leather face job, the forearm wood looks original, the receiver has been re-case colored/hardened (screws don't look nearly as new), and the barrels may or may not have been re-blued. At the current bid, it's a bargain for somebody who wants a very nice gun to shoot or hunt with. A great vintage clays gun for sure.

That's only for internet bidding services. There is no buyer's premium if you bid in person, by phone, or by absentee bid directly through the auction house

That's a pretty neat 16. Where do you suppose the bidding will end?

Beautiful shotgun, but curious; is what appears to be many out of time screws and screw slots having been obviously tinkered with, possibly the wrong type of screwdrivers, a concern?

Also, looking closely at plates 10 & 29, my critical eye is wondering if the gold and darker blue colored main side plate screws were replaced on the wrong sides....seems to me as though the gold one should be on the right side and the blue on the left.

Too critical???

One can never be too critical when looking at guns on auction sites. This isn't to say anything bad about anyone or anything, but rather to remind that when you buy at auction, payment is due immediately and there are rarely if ever any chances to return what you just bought.

All that said, there are a good number of 16 ga guns in the sale. Worth perusing the whole site.
