.....something has got to go to make room for my blatant side by side affliction, I really belabored this decision, I know this is a wonderful, classic gun, but I just don't (won't) shoot it....it's TOO cherry for me, I wouldn't want to mess it up.....I know it's the pheasant's nemesis and a precision instrument of rooster doom, but my doubles do fine for me, and I believe I will always favor them, and since I am NOT a collector, I want to let this go to somebody who will appreciate it either in their collection, or in the field... it doesn't seem to fit me real well, either, and it just isn't somehow pleasant for me to shoot after years of doublegun adventures... (see post titled ...."Felt recoil: Sweet 16 vs. Model 12" either under gen'l discussion or "guns"......)

.....so, it's a Belgium 28" modified plain (matted) barrel, roundknob Sweet 16, all original unaltered everything, I got it last year from the original owner who bought it in an Arkansas hardware store at which he worked, and he hardly ever used it. It is 100% blue and 99% finish, few little fine scratches in the wood finish from minimal handling, but otherwise....minty fresh....Serial No. 2S 92633

....I will entertain bids at $950 or above for 5 days, cutoff is Friday Feb 9 at noon. I've done a little research and I know this is a fair price at which to start.

Since I am a cyber half-wit and can't begin to figger out how to post photos on this site through the use of another website....(makes me hyperventilate with high anxiety just thinking about it), please email or PM me with your email address, and I will email photos to all of you who are interested.......

my email is sdhill@montana.com

Please know you have the 5-day SHOOTING inspection rights to return it to me for any reason that I always extended potential customers when I ran the gun shop....... I don't think I'm interested in any trades, though I do rather fancy lightweight vintage American ejector guns......

PM, email, or feel free to publicly (on this post) ask any questions..... some of you will think I'm nuts for selling this, others of you will understand...

thanks,

Duncan

Duncan. That sure is tempting, but I spent my allowance last week. I like the sxs's also, as I have 2 Elsies and a Savage fox 16 gauge. Iwould not sell my Brownings though. I've been a Browning follower for years.
