Hi Hal, and thanks for the reply. Sorry to hear about the lack of interest. I’m originally from northern Wisconsin, and when I was a kid it seemed like everyone I knew owned at least one 16ga. My local gun club here in Laughlin, NV is pretty small, and as far as I know I’m the only 16ga shooter here. I shot a 21/25 on trap the other day with my Dad’s Sweet 16 and my own loads, so that was fun to at least hang in there with the other guys. I’ll just keep my eyes and ears open and maybe someday there’ll be more events. If you ever do put on another one in Florida, I’d definitely make the trip.
On a side note, I have tried a couple of times to register on 16ga.com, and although it seems that my application has been accepted, my account has not been “activated”, even after a couple of months. I’m able to follow the discussions, and I’ve been able to find some recipes for loads there, but it would be nice to be able to take part in the discussions, or post my own questions. If you have any insight into how I might be able to get my account activated, I’d appreciate it. |
