Anyone know why B&P 16 ga shells are not being imported any longer? B&P in Italy is still making them.

Able ammo is an importer, but their stock on hand is minimal, with zero 16

Fiocchi bought B&P back in late 2020. Since then, importation of B&P shells appears to have nearly dried up. What Fiocchi's plans are for B&P availability in the US is unknown but it doesn't bode well for those of us who want to see as many 16 ga options on the market.

JMO,
Dave

B&P’s F5 in 16 ga is, in my opinion, the gold standard of 16 ga shells. Very soft shooting and hammer targets. Sadly, like many things in 2020, that came to an end when Fiocchi bought B&P. I still have some boxes of the B&P shells I keep for special occasions. Hopefully, they will be back again.

Same with herters shells. I still have 8 flats. With many other types of factories I have. I'll never go long enough to shoot them all up. With the few thousands once fired and new primed hull which I'll probably run out of primers shot and powder first.

Glad I brought 10+ flats when they closed out
