Is there anyone still offering flat rate shipping for 2 bags of lead shot? All the usual sources quoting $60-70 for shipping. |

BPI still advertising 50lbs for $19.95
Promo code SHOT50
Recob Target I think still offers that same rate as well. It just shows up as a $37.50 charge but when they charge your card it’s the lower rate |

Makes you wish for the old Cabelas who would offer free shipping on $50+ orders. Could order two bags of shot at $39.99 ea and get free shipping! |

Yep and when I started driving gas was 19 cents a gallon at TG&Y’s auto center.
All that’s long gone now……lol |

I miss the time when I was visiting my brother when he lived north of Spokane. I stopped in the “White Elephant”? Store on Division street and dropped some cash. They had West Coast Magnum shot for $16 a bag. Car didn’t get too good gas mileage on the way home to Kansas |

When I was age 14 (1970) shot was $6 per 25# bag. According to the Inflation Calculator that's $41 today.
Primers were less than a buck.
Federal 16ga shells were $1.99/box at Forest Hills Factory Outlet. That's $14 in todays money.
When I moved to Idaho in 2003 shot was $12/bag then jumped to $18/bag not long after. |

The big difference is then you could buy supplies.
Now they don't exist |
