| Can 16 gauge #1 buckshot be safely shot through a Weaver Skeet choke tube on my Remington model 31 ? |

| Thanks. I also have a “3/4” choke tube, which I think is Modified. Would buckshot be okay to shoot through it also? |

I may have some 16 gauge Weaver chokes, let me look.
First,I would say pattern the buckshot with the skeet choke and I
will see if I have a 1/4 or a 1/2 choke tube |

Additional info:
Weaver chokes are internal taper chokes, If you need a more open choke just shorten the tube.
You can buy a full choke tube and shorten it to the choke you want.
