Anyone on here tried titegroup. I've been reading the 12ga trap shooters that many have tried it and like it. I guess cost is one factor.
Just thought I would ask.
Sorry I meant titewad. My bad |

Are you asking about using for 16? Dont know if theres any data for that but I've used it for 1 oz 12ga loads for years. |

Not really a 16 ga powder. I am aware of some data for 3/4 oz and 7/8 oz for Fiochi hulls and maybe some cheditte, but nothing beyond that.
As mentioned earlier, good for 12ga. |

I seen some loads on file I had imported from yahoo. For 1oz and 1 1/8oz
Iooked like fps was little slow for the amount of pressure showed. |

Burn rate in the neighborhood of e3, RD & Promo, I've used/use all of these 3 to date, work great with lighter loads out of a short barreled Citori Upland Special and sawed off 1148 Brushhog so TightWad should follow suit. Tried some TW years ago and seem to remember some finicky maybe inconsistent metering/drop issue so hasn't been on my bench since. In the BPI 5th edit 16ga manual there are some recipes listed and also some in the spreadsheet version organized by powders under "Misc" but all by BPI. As much as I respect and value BPI for supplying this hobby with components, I'm not comfortable sharing their reloading data. |

I have used the BPI TW loading data in 7/8 with success. You will need some spacer material to get a good crimp.
I have had other BPI loads expand the spent hulls too much to be ejected indicating a higher pressure than the recipe would suggest. But not with Titewad. That said, like putz, I will leave the perusal of BPI recipes up to you. |
