https://www.reedsgunsandammo.com/sales/browning-citori-feather-lightning-nkl-16ga-28in-018163513

This is a Reeds Sporting Goods exclusive.

They don’t have the weight listed, I called there on 2 different occasions and got 2 different answers one was 6 lbs. 8 oz., and one was just over 6 pounds.

I contacted Browning gave them the product number for this Reeds exclusive and one representative said 6 pounds and 13 ounces, I called again and another representative said 5.9 pounds.

I had both contacts at Reed’s, and both contacts at Browning’s double check that it was a 16 gauge browning Citori feather lightning.

Has anyone bought the shotgun that could give me an actual weight of it? I am looking for anything between six and 6 1/2 pounds, not really wanting to go about that.

Thank you for your time

Mine feather is a 2010 with 28” and POW stock and weighs 6lb 1oz. My wood is really plain with the poly finish. “They” say nicer wood will add a few oz.

I would be really happy with just over 6 pounds. I found an older citori feather on gunbroker and they said 5.8 pounds.

There have just been so many weights thrown out that are not close to each other I’m lost.

I held and weighed the citori hunter grade II with 28” barrels and it was 7 pounds 1 ounce. Listed weight is 6 pounds 14 ounces so that’s pretty close

Mine is 6lb, 2oz and has a leather recoil pad that has been added.

Came in today and was at 6# 6oz. Wood was beautiful but could not get the forearm latch to close. I had multiple employees at the gun shop try and it is going back to Reeds for an exchange.

Two people, open the barrels slightly, pop on the forearm, close the barrels,
Done !

Two people so you do not drop the gun Sad

I would have to think the weight difference would be the wood itself? I have had a number of 16 Model 12's, and the butt stock weight was vastly different between them. I had one that I thought it was balsa wood it was so light!
I believe my Feather is right at 6 lbs.
