Assuming I can find the right wads given no DR16's. Someone suggested Gulandi?
I have a good recipe (tested by Armbrust) for 7/8 oz load in the Herters/Cheddite hulls using Cheddite primers, 20/28 and the DR16. Obviously I need a replacement for the DR16. Thanks!
Also I think I recall someone here stating that the Herters and Browning hulls are the same. They certainly look identical. |

I load with 20/28 20gr. claybuster 1oz with fill in bottom of shot cup
Average 1248 fps. Loaded this load for few years now. You need to flare the overpower cup to stop powder creep. Old 16 |

formula. But filler required. I drop a couple Cheerios on top of the shot. But the new black Herters and the old Purple ones crimp quite well. Looks like the new black ones might last longer, but I'm not for certain on that yet. |
