I have been looking at the websites that handle DownRange wads, the DR16 is still 'Out of Stock'.
I also have them on some websites notify list, nothing.
I have been noticing that a lot of places don't even handle DownRange wads. Not sure if that is something that is happening now or if these places have never handled DownRange wads. |

Soon. Kevin was waiting on a PO last week to ship them. He had a skid on the dock shrink wrapped and was still making more. It is a slow manual process making the DR16. Called where they are going to land on Tuesday and they hadn't come in yet. |

Did anyone in the circle take orders or Kevin is making a certain amount? |

Supposedly, but I wouldn't hold my breath that this run has actually been made. The check has been in the mail about 6 or 7 times so far, and DownRange still doesn't respect us in the morning. When I see the DR16 listed on website for sale, that's when I'll believe it. |

Only Nick can answer that. Like he said in that thread:
It's just a thought 🤔
Hopefully that thought will soon pass |

DR has the mold to use . As long as the formula doesn't change , it's up to them . Nick only needs to get involved if there is a form. change as he's the dude with the legalities. It's up to DR if and when ! |

You must have missed where Nick said
"The next run of the DR - 16 might be the last"
http://www.16ga.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25375
He did also say
"Hmm just thinking 🤔."
Kevin does let him know before making a run out of courtesy.
As of yesterday they still were not at the distributors. She said Monday might be stretching it. Then there is the whole unpacking and listing thing to go through. But there is light at the end of the tunnel. |

There are a lot of distributors and most of the online retailers buy direct from the manufacturers. Not sure what DownRange allows in their program. Some manufacturers only sell to distributors, some sell to any company that can place a big enough order to meet their program.
The problem is no one is going to be able to order enough DR16's to make an order large enough to make the minimums for whatever program DownRange and/or their distributors have. There will have to be other wads ordered and companies usually need to look at inventory turns and inventory on hand, to know if it is the right time to place an order. We might want DR16's but they aren't exactly a hot commodity in the reloading market.
So IF DownRange actually made DR16's and IF they are ready to be shipped to the distributors and online retailers on Monday, you might see them by the end of the week. Putting items on a website for sale, especially an item that has already been listed takes maybe 15 seconds. Once it is put in inventory, it should show up on the website(s) as in stock.
Most of this is on DownRange to make the wads, make their customers aware that they are ready to be shipped and ship them. But DownRange needs orders for the wads, which might be more of a snag than you think. |
