Skeetx, I assume that those were 12 gauge barrels sleeved to 16? |

For me it’s a split decision between a browning a5 and a German no name trade gun.

That's an excellent pair of bird guns, can't choose wrong with either. |

Although enjoying the 870' & BPS' most these days. But always circle back and enjoy most my wedding gift 16ga Citori Upland Special....reminds me of a Lyle Lovett tune;
She's as cute as a bug, short as a minute
She's a pretty little package with everything in it
Mister, I've said enough to praise God above
I'm crazy in love, she's as cute as a bug |

My go-to guns for hunting are a Browning Superlight Feather
And a L.C. Smith Specialty Grade
These are the ones that I take with me on pretty much every hunting trip. |

Mine used to be a SxS double trigger that Pat Laib extended the forcing cones and put back on face then sent to Briley for thin walls. I then found after-market 7/8” swivels and a matching leather sling that a member purchased for half price as his climbing chucker gun. Molly’s dad then sent me a model 12 with a model ‘97 forend, Mod 28” and a 13.5” buttstock. I spent three years finding a buttstock to give me 14” like the rest of my model 12’s (and 42) and have been slowly shaping it to be a bit more svelte. When it gets where I want I’ll buy some 2.75” #1 buck shells for farmyard duty and 1oz loads for doves. I don’t think I’ll ever own another 16 because I’m almost certain that I’m done buying guns, I have more than I need and don’t really do that much shooting anymore. Busy doing other stuff. Reno |

Pretty much any pretty back action hammer gun that I shoot well. Which is to say, most of them. The round body actions feel so great in the hands, and there's nothing like walking up behind my setter on point with a beautiful hammer gun ready to go. High drama and high art are a wonderful combination. It doesn't get much better than that in my opinion. |
