I have for sale a Savage Model 430 Over Under in 16 gauge. This gun was made in Utica NY in the late 1930’s and shows only light hunting use. It has 28 inch barrels and I assume the chokes are F/M. The LOP is about 14 to the front trigger and 13 from the rear. It weighs 7lb 13 oz but is well balanced. The bores are shiny with no mars. The stock on this gun is by far the nicest wood I have ever owned. The fit and finish and hand checkering would likely cost several thousand dollars today.
A 16ga 430 in this condition is very hard to find, as there are currently none listed on GB or Guns international.
