Browning White Lightning 28” for sale
Has thin blueing on top from being carried over the shoulder and some of the gold lettering is gone off of the bottom from hand sweat. Some dings.
Original box with the original manual, chokes and the wrench. Chokes both remove easily from the barrels. I am the original owner.
This gun was used to hunt everything from Geese to Chukar (hence the dings) to doves. It has sling swivel mount posts installed.
Never had a failure to fire.
Weight 6 lbs 12 oz
I took a lot of pictures. If interested send me a PM and I will send some.
I am thinking $1100 should be a fair price. |

It is only because it is not a safe queen. It is probably not as bad as I portrayed it, but it has been carried in the field a lot, been in fresh water blinds and hunted out of fresh water boats, carried on steep shale hillsides and the like. In the field all of our guns have been set on the ground at one point or another. Sooner or later they get dinged if they are used a lot in the field.
I would rather someone was happy with their purchase rather than think there was not full disclosure.
If I (not including the wife's) did not have other 16's (SXS, BPS, and a 26" Featherweight) I would probably keep it. Not to mention, I have not bird hunted for a few years since we moved to the coast.
I should probably keep it for a salt water gun. I actually had not thought about that until just now. DOH! I will sleep on that thought. |
