I have a friend of mine that has this following Merkel 1620 for sale:
For your consideration I have a Merkel 1620 in Excellent condition. These are not being built by Merkel any more. They are a 16 gauge built on a 20 gauge frame. This gun has been shot very little. They are extremely well made and built very tight. Factory box is included. Here are the specs on this particular 1620:
Barrel: 28" Shiny bores and blueing
Chokes: IC/M
Chambers: 2 3/4"
Trigger: Single Selector
Automatic Ejectors
Wood: Excellent like New
LOP: 14 1/2"
Comb: 1 1/2"
Heel: 2 1/4"
Weight: 6lbs
