| When I've shot with folks that needed help to see what the lead looked like, I've taken 2 either larger chunks of broken clays or found whole ones from the field and put them on the trap house 4 heel-to-toe (~3-4') paces apart. Worked for some.... |

That's what I used to help myself and other folks, but using the station 8 blocks sounds like a nice discreet method. |

SkeetTX, That is very good advice. I'm a NSSA certified skeet instructor, and I wonder why I have never heard that before. I try to tell skeet shooters the actual lead is practically the same at every station, but it looks different (perceived lead) because of the "angle" of deflection. You method gives a handy reference of just that. I definitely will remember it and use it with students. Thanks!!
