The other day a perfect stranger at the club came over and handed me a partial box of 16ga Dupont Rem Express Long Range ammo. Sure brought back some memories. Any way of dating it? It has a bar code so it can’t be too aged.
Also gave me a full box of 16 ga Activ Red Hornets #8, crazy looking stuff. No way can I shoot a couple rounds out of that box, looks way too cool.
TIA

| Several years ago we needed to learn the mfg date for some Winchester ammo. We contacted Olin with the lot number and as I recall they narrowed it down to month and year. You might be able to contact the company and have them look it up. |

| If it has a bar code, it's got to be from the early 80's or later. |
