Gentlemen,
It was an up hill battle with the shippers, both UPS & USPS however we finally received my 16 gauge Ugartechea Grade IV/75EX side lock double gun stock in the mail today. A week later than the USPS Priority mail advised me that it would arrive.
Doug Carpenter did a great job installing the Silver Butt Clips and repairing the damage that happened from the UPS Shipment. Doug Carpenter does fantastic stock work, the gun stock finish is even better than original. I highly recommend Dougs business when needing a stock repaired or refinished, he also takes great care when shipping his work. It was definitely worth the wait, fantastic job finally done by a real professional.
all the best,

| Good to hear you got it back home and all sorted, hope to hear of it out in the Grouse woods soon we always enjoy to hear about your hunts , I got my first Woodcock of the season today but it was with my 20ga so won't talk too much about that here , had the old Jeffery out oiling it today and my son said we must have a 16ga day shortly so hopefully around Christmas we will have something to report , take it easy in the ruff stuff , Best wishes WJ. |

Gentlemen,
Got out a day or 2 just before the end of Grouse season, in the snow. Had a great time with both my WR an my Ugartechea Grade IV side lock guns, unfortunately the Grouse were very spooky on both windy days, only had a couple of hale merry shots that did not connect. The new Browning safety vest for my Gordon Grouse dog really made a difference, now very easy to see her in the Grouse woods especially on the snow. A winter wonder land for sure, in the Pa Grouse woods right now. Could only hunt for about 3 hours each time out, my foot is till not healed all the way.
all the best,
Pine Creek/Dave

| Nice job getting out there for one more try. Take care of that foot. I’m sure the Uggie and the WR would be disappointed if they couldn’t hunt next season, not to mention the Gordon. |

Brewster11,
Yes his direct telephone number is 440-479-1476, you can look him up on the Net at carpentercustomgunstocks.com I highly recommend him, he does great stock work.
He did a custom job for me putting my antique Butt Stock Clips on my Ugartechea side lock gun, did a perfect job that matches my WR 1904 gun.
all the best,
Pine Creek/Dave

email him @ d.carpenter@ccgunstocks.com, ask him a good time to call, he's a very busy fellow.
He's done 4 or 5 guns for me, excellent work |
