Looking for a Browning Sweet 16 Auto 5. Not the new inertia gun, but the old recoil operated gun. Want a Japan made gun with 28 in barrel. Fixed choke or tubes would be good. Please let me know if you have one you are interested in selling. Thanks!

Would also be interested in just a Japan made barrel for the 16.

There are numerous 26" Japanese made ones, 28's as you probably know are fewer and farther between

I have been keeping tabs on all of the sites. That gun at Art's is nice, but at this time a little more than I want to pay. Tried to work with him on price ,but he is firm.
I want a japanese barrel or gun ,so it is alright to shoot steel out of.

does it have to be 28" ? as I mentioned I saw numerous 26" guns that are less expensive and fulfill your requirements except for 28"

I didn't know if you were still looking for one or not, I saw this on Guns Intl. today.
It's nicked up some and a rust spot on the bolt, needs a new butt plate too.
(You can pick one up at MGW for $25.)
The price is right though, it's just a shooter.
