| A little off topic - anyone know anyone with some RL 28ga extended tubes , can't get a hit anywhere , and Briley isn't the correct answer !! |

| Never seen any. Seems like briley made all of the RRL tubes? Did you ask if they can make you some? |

| savage 16th ... they do still make them . My rub is that you have to mail them a tube for them to copy . They used to have them in the drawer . There's only one thread combo , and they own it - I'm not mailing them a tube . |

They are wanting to verify the thread pitch and thread pitch diameter. Dimensions the average person doesn't have the tools or knowledge to do. (Along with other measurements).
Prevents mistakes, returns, etc.
Their house, their rules.
Years ago I threaded a barrel for an executive at a company I worked for. I insisted on the time to make a practice piece to verify dimensions before I cut it.
HOWEVER, HOWEVER, HOWEVER
Out of curiousity I used the Wayback Machine to fetch their website back from in time.
On the Sept 14, 2009 backup, they did not list a choke for the 28 ga.
Then I checked the November 30th 2015 and they did offer them. I printed (saved to a PDF) an image of their web page from then.
You could call them and remind them that they used to offer off the shelf ones and what has changed.
If you want a copy of the PDF, PM me your email address. Keep in mind some of the images aren't there, they were probably on a different server, but it is complete enough to show that they did.

Ebay has several 28 ga RRL tubes listed. Unfortunately they all appear to be flush, not extended. Mike would have known where to obtain one.

Your call but I wouldnt hesitate. I and other friends have sent them tubes for other guns and all have been satisfied. You can also specify what chokes you want in thousandths not just sk, IC, etc |
