Duuude! This place is running on autopilot! No mods, no administrator has checked in for over 6 months now! Bunch of threads about it. New folks can't get approved.
No one in power to moderate and remove those posts.
We added a better 16ga forum over at SGW, some loads posted etc., just leaning towards having a 16ga home if this place dies. Hopefully it doesn't. |

You probably don't read every new post here, then. There have been several spammers lately posting ads about meeting girls, escorts, etc. |

It is 5 days shy of 7 months where I tried to PM "S_long" to have EricBs (on both SGW and SGF) ID activated. Also sent emails. All I have heard is crickets and the PM sits in my "Outbox" unread. Once it is read, it goes to the "Sent" box.
For whatever reason he is not doing anything with the site. |

Yes Sir.
As of right now the drop dead date March 26, 2027. That is when the current lease on the domain name, ie: "16ga.com" runs out. If it is not paid for again, the site goes dark on that day and the clock starts ticking for someone else can grab the name.

who knows. that is the problem. s_long has not responded to anyone. we don't know if he is still amongst the living, has given up on the site, etc.
since he publicly said that he wouldn't accept any help and that he was the sole keeper of the keys to the kingdom, who knows and other than doing a domain name lookup no one can ask how long the hosting is paid for
It truly would be best if people started looking for the loads and data that they want and then migrate over to the 16 gauge forums on either ShotgunWorld or ShotgunForums. |

There is only one account I've seen posting scam links, and that it probably because that one individual got hacked because his password was probably something like "Password" and it was compromised by a bot or something.
But the fact remains that this site appears to be sort of an internet Flying Dutchman, although the difference is this ghost ship will end when the domain expires. |

I told everyone this a while ago, but the fact remains s_long is not looking at the site, even just to take a quick look at the postings, at all or he would have seen them.
the domain expires 03/26/2027
There are exactly 234 days between August 4, 2026, and March 26, 2027
the clock is ticking, we are now 11 days shy of 8 months when I sent s_long emails and a pm (still sitting in my outbox) to help get EricB from the forums activated as he had a problem with his existing account |
