Did Winchester carried the socket for attaching the stock from the M12 thru the M1200 and the M1400?

The short answer is no.
Both the 12 and the 1200 had the buttstock attached by through the stock bolts into the receiver, however the 12 has a socket that protrudes from the receiver a few inches into the stock whereas the 1200 has the through the stock bolt thread directly into the receiver. |
